 Verified Mike Hoover and his crew are true professionals. They did exactly as directed in the time specified. Their knowledge of landscaping techniques were stellar and they gave me exactly what I asked for. They take care of business. They were hard working, diligent, courteous and respectful.  Verified t. They added a beautiful retaining wall, drop system for plants, sprinklers for a small grass area, and more roses (my favorite). They fixed a drainage problem we had with our downspouts and accumulation on the ground. They expanded our driveway and added a huge concrete pad in our backyard for my home office to go on. They also added a large concrete walkway along the side of our house. The crew was friendly, Mike was very clear what the project would entail and everything turned out beautifully!

Mike responded quickly and provided a thorough explanation of plans to trim and cut a huge tree in my back yard and a Magnolia tree in my front yard with considerable low branches and hanging out into the street. He was friendly, professional and "knew his stuff".  I was very impressed with him and his crew who were also professional and left my property nice and clean upon completion of job. I'm so happy with my "groomed" trees looking beautiful.  I should have done this years ago! I HIGHLY recommend them; don't hesitate to hire!!!

 Verified Excellent, well done tree trimming. Hoover had a great, cohesive work group. They did an excellent job on 5 trees in our yards. They had not been professionally trimmed in years. Hoover Horticulture worked quickly, as quietly as possible, and did an excellent job cleaning up. They were very careful not to damage any of my 50 orchid plants. A job well done.

 Verified We had a sickly tree in our backyard.  After a large branch fell on our fence, we requested a quote for tree removal. Michael Hoover responded quickly to our request and was able to come by and review the situation within 24 hours.  He confirmed that the tree was riddled with termites and also infected with crown rot.  Not only did he beat out the other companies' quotes for tree removal, he completed the work quickly and without any fuss.  The entire process was completed in under a week. Excellent service!

 Verified We have hired Hoover Horticultural Service over the past couple of years for some pretty heavy duty landscaping work, I first met the crew when they were working at our next door neighbors house and liked how well they worked as a team and how friendly and polite they were.For us , they have done really good work.( 100 ft. long Retaining wall, brick walkway and patio, tree and shrub pruning and cleanup of blackberry vines, as well as selecting and planting trees and shrubs.They also replaced a redwood fence.In our case they have done the work efficiently without undue delays.                              I had to laugh when we read some other reviews because Mike Hoover does indeed have opinions about everything from dog training, child rearing , you name it.  He frightened my neighbor by giving her a hug.He did indeed give us suggestions on my choice of materials and plants which turned out to be very good advice. He has a good eye for design.He is a Vietnam Nam veteran and interesting to talk to. Their prices are not cheap but were in the ballpark with other estimates . We would indeed hire them again . Also, our dog Sparky likes them.  Verified Mike Hoover is veteran friendly.  He took care of the Memorial Park at the Fair Oaks Center Township Veteran's of Foreign Wars for barely nothing.  He found more damage after he started and took care of that too.
